RFU Referee Coach Award

I have now received from Castlecroft the delegate packs which consist of a CD Rom and Video for each delegate.
The course is aimed at senior referees , and We would suggest anyone with less then five years officiating would not be considered a suitable candidate at this stage.(We are willing to consider each and every request, however. )
The course will be led by Mark Salter who has already undertaken and passed the Combined Services Course.
The idea of the course is that it is predominantly distance learning with some classroom elements.
At this stage we can distribute the material for candidates to see the material and commit them selves to the study that is required. ALL the material is on the CD and Video. The course is designed in modular format and the idea is that certain modules will be ‘transferable’ to other sports, so you can all become budding football managers, a la Clive Woodward.
Dates for the classroom sessions will be sorted out later, but will probably be either couple of evenings , or a Sunday .It may be possible to do it in smaller groups.

This course is a pre requisite for those that want to go on to do the Development Coach course or RFU Referee Coach Award.
Thanks to anticipated Sportsmatch funding there will be no charge for the course material.
