Brief description of course structure and learning style/delivery methodology:

 

MODULE A –PRECOURSE LEARNING

Delegates will watch a video of a Level 4 match – Broadstreet v Waterloo - and collect data using their methods. Delegates to complete a report Form 2 on the match and bring to Training Session

 

MODULE B – DATA COLLECTION

·         Brief icebreaker

·         Follow up to above -  presentation “What is Assessing” by Tutor

·         Syndicates

 

MODULE B – CRITICAL INCIDENTS

  • Syndicates “What is a Critical Incident?”
  • Presentation  “What is a Critical Incident?” plus comments – managed by Tutor (20)
  • Delegates are given an example of a CI and are Delegates asked to record the critical incident as on the form and are asked in syndicate to discuss
  • What happened?
  • How they would clarify the Incident with a Referee

 

MODULE C – INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

  • Syndicate session – “What are the required Interpersonal Skills of
  • A Referee Coach?
  • An Assessor?
  • Brief feedback is required plus summary by Tutor
  • Syndicate session - What I still need to know
  • Brief feedback is required plus summary by Tutor
